Garmin GA 38 Remote Antenna

The new Garmin GA 38 GPS/GLONASS Antenna was developed to take full advantage of both GLONASS system/constellation and GPS satellites for optimal signal reception. Made of fully gasketed, high-impact plastic alloy, the GA 38 meetsIPX7 waterproof standards and features a robust low-profile design to withstand the harsh marine environment.For increased flexibility the GA 38 External Antenna provides the user with three easy mounting options. You can mount the antenna on a flat surface, install it under fiberglass, or attach it to a standard 1 inch OD, 14 threads per inch, pipe threaded pole (not included), routing the cable outside the pole or through the pole. The antenna uses a BNC connector to connect to the port labeled ANTENNA or EXT GPS on a compatible chartplotter.

Fits Garmin 400, 500, 7×0, 7×1, 8×0 and 10×0 series chartplotters and many earlier models as well. The Garmin GA 38 antenna replaces the Garmin GA 30/31 antenna 010-00872-00. Garmin # 010-12017-00
