The 8610XSV provides superior clarity with fast processing speeds and a full touchscreen HD in-plane switching (IPS) display. Preloaded with the new Garmin Navionics + charting giving you a Navionics style chart view. The 10” touchscreen chartplotter with sonar is network capable providing support for radar, SiriusXM weather and other optional components. The 8610xsv includes a flush mount kit and a bracket mount giving you multiple mounting options.
Display:
The bright 10-inch display has wide viewing angles with superior clarity and a full HD IPS display. The display is sunlight viewable and even readable with polarized shades. With multiple screen options the 8610XSV allows viewing multiple pages on one screen with ease. Customize the screen easily by creating split pages and shortcuts.
Charting:
The Garmin Navionics + charting gives you the look and feel of Navionics prestige charting. The 8610xsv includes one year of free daily chart updates via the Garmin ActiveCaptain app. Coastal and inland chart content with Auto Guidance+ technology provides a recommended path from point A to point B, taking into consideration obstructions and safe depth. (*please note, Auto Guidance+ is for planning purposes only and should not replace safe navigation). Improved fishing charts, navigation and up to 1-foot contours provide a more detailed depiction of the bottom structure. Shallow water shading highlights depths up to a user-defined level helping to aid in navigation. Preloaded Garmin Navionics Charts include detailed coverage of the entire U.S. coasts, lakes, rivers and inland waterways, plus Alaska and Hawaii. Canada coverage of coastal British Columbia, the Great Lakes, the St. Lawrence Seaway, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Coverage includes Bermuda, the Bahamas, Baja California, the Gulf of California, Johnston Atoll and Palmyra Atoll/Kingman Reef.
Sonar:
Equipped with a 1kw Dual Channel Chirp, ClearVu and SideVu sounder, the 8610xsv can provide advanced sonar with limitless transducer options, transducer required for sonar and sold separately. The GPSMAP 8610xsv is equipped with one 12 pin port, one 8 pin port, and an LVS Sonar Port. The 8600 series is also compatible with the full line of Garmin Panoptix LiveScope products.
Network Support:
Your GPSMAP 8610XSV GN+ unit is fully network capable with an internal sounder and two Ethernet ports to expand your system to multiple displays, GXM 54 weather, radar and many sonar options. With wireless networking capabilities, easily pair your display with the Garmin ActiveCaptain app to access OneChart, smart notifications, and even to share waypoints from you mobile device. If you require additional network ports, you may add a Garmin GMS10 network port expander, sold separately.
Premium Charting Options:
The Garmin GPSMAP GN+ displays are compatible with Garmin Navionics Vision+ charts, Garmin’s premier chart offering. Garmin Navionics Vision+ charts include both coastal and lake coverage within the region of your choice. Data is sourced from Garmin and Navionics in order to provide you with exceptional detail. Regions are larger than previous charting from Garmin and provide High Resolution Relief Shading, Auto Guidance+ routing, High Resolution Satellite Imagery, Sonar Imagery, Aerial Photography, SideScan Images and 1-year of free daily updates via the Garmin ActiveCaptain app! Garmin Navionics Vision+ charts require premium content to be downloaded post purchase via the ActiveCaptain app with a compatible smartphone or tablet. All premium chart options are available in the region of your choice and sold separately.
