The GPSMAP 86s comes standard with a worldwide map for use anywhere, but a single microSD card slot allows you to add to it from Garmin’s extensive mapping options. Seeking marine mapping? Add a Bluechart G3 card or LakeVu G3 card for on water detail. The Garmin LakeVu G3 chart provides basic chart detail for over 18,000 US lakes and the BlueChart G3 chart provides basic detail for coastal waters throughout the US. Please note that the Garmin 86 series provides limited support of the LakeVu G3 or BlueChart G3 charts. 

Included with every GPSMAP 86 series are Garmins navigation sensors including a Digital Compass showing your heading even while standing still, Barometric Altimeter showing changes in pressure and Accelerometer showing speed.

Stay Connected, with WiFi, ANT and Bluetooth you can ensure you are always connected. With Bluetooth you can pair with a compatible smartphone to receive texts, emails and other notifications right on your handheld.
