Garmin P79 6 Pin Plastic In-Hull Transducer

The Airmar P79 in-hull transducer easily adjusts to hull deadrise angles up to 22 º. This ensures that the beam is vertically oriented to receive echos, resulting in accurate depth readings. Unlike traditional “puck” type transducers, the Airmar P79 consists of a base that is bonded to the hull and filled with liquid. The separate transducer then attaches to the base with a twist lock. The sound waves travel more efficiently though the liquid, giving the best possible performance.
Compatible with Garmin units with 6-pin transducer connector.
Not Compatible with wood hulls, metal hulls or foam cored hulls.
Garmin 010-10327-00, P79 Plastic Shoot Thru-Hull Transducer was designed for people that do not want to drill holes in the bottom of their boat. The transducer mounts inside the boat and will work on boats with deadrise up to 22 degrees.
