The high-resolution (800 x 480) WVGA display provides a top notch viewing experience in any marine conditions.

The Reactor 40 with SmartPump V2 prevents the need for estimating the correct pump size for your particular vessel. With previous models, to select the correct pump size for your vessel the dealer would need to know the total cubic inches of the steering cylinder on the boat.

The advanced solid state 9 Axis AHRS, enables you to mount the new system virtually anywhere in any orientation. The new system minimizes heading error, rudder movement and course deviation while maintaining the smooth ride that Garmin Reactor series pilots has always been known for. The Reactor Autopilot itself requires minimal commissioning and calibration after installation reducing the time from over 20 minute setup to literally less than 5 minutes in most cases.

You have full control of Garmin’s Reactor 40 when paired with one of Garmin’s compatible MFD’s. When paired with Garmin’s G3 Charts, you can enjoy features like Auto-Guidance which automatically steers GPS courses.
